Software Engineering – Winter Semester 2024/2025

These are the prepared slides for the Software Engineering lecture from the 2024/2025 winter semester at Merseburg University of Applied Sciences. The lecture covers everything – from the initial problem to the finished software.

The focus, however, is not on programming itself, but on everything around it that makes the resulting code actually solve the problem, stay comprehensible and be tested. It is the essential craft and knowledge every software developer should master, yet which is covered far too briefly – if at all – during their education.
